Soul Theory has never been the type of person to settle for being anything less than the best. So when he discovered his love for producing, it was inevitable that he would eventually be one of the best to enter the game. "I've always been that way", Soul Theory admits. "If I did something, I always had to be the best at it. If I wasn't good at it, it would always lose my interest." Soul Theory discovered his natural talent for production as a young emcee in high school in need of beats to rhyme on. Tired of industry beats and unable to find producers that could offer the sound he was looking for, Soul Theory decided to learn the art of beat-making so that he could produce for himself. Little did he know, he was about to discover a gift that would take the game by storm.

Inspired by hip hop greats like DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Alchemist, Soul Theory, now a full-time producer and businessman, has continued to perfect his art over the years, successfully creating a career out of his passion for hip hop music. Unlike the many carbon-copy producers that saturate the industry today, Soul Theory continues to create original beats with a recognizable soul-inspired style that has heads nodding worldwide.

In early 2006, Soul Theory began to work heavily with up-and-coming artist and longtime friend, Knowledge Medina. After several months of collaboration and many classic songs later, it became evident that the pair had an amazing chemistry in the studio. It was at this point, that they decided to solidify the relationship and form hip hop group, K.S. Flow. In February 2008, K.S. Flow released their highly anticipated debut hip hop album, On the Come Up

K.S. Flow's On the Come Up has received excellent reviews as a must-have hip hop album and has continued to receive a great response since hitting stores, managing to sell over 3,000 copies to date. On their debut album and first major project, Knowledge Medina's highly respected flow and introspective street content is perfectly complemented by Soul Theory's classic bars and world-renowned production.

While Soul Theory is known to most for his production, many discover on On the Come Up that Soul Theory's ability to hold down a mic is no less than his ability to create highly respected beats. Featured on six of the twelve songs, Soul Theory's heavy lyrics and confident flow secures his spot as a respected artist and leaves the listener wanting more from the man behind the boards.

With a classic album under the belt and a steadily growing production resume, Soul Theory is ready for anything that comes his way.
